Crew Cab models include four full-size front-hinged doors that make entry and exit a breeze. Crew Cabs also offer the comfort of standard front bucket seats, with an available 60/40 splitbench front seat for those who require accommodations for six passengers. Extended Cabs feature seating for five with standard dual fold-up rear jump seats, and both Extended Cab and Regular Cab models offer front bucket seats as an option. Standard amenities on every Canyon include air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt adjustable steering column and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Inside every Vortec engine, you’ll find a combustion chamber design that results in enhanced power and efficiency. Canyon offers this intelligent technology in three different engines, all designed to run on regular fuel. The first is a fuel-efficient Vortec 2.9L in-line four cylinder. The second is a 242 horsepower Vortec 3.7L five-cylinder engine that delivers an excellent combination of performance and fuel efficiency. Both feature Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and 4-valve per cylinder technology with dual overhead camshafts. Topping the range is a Vortec 5.3-litre V8 that generates 300 horsepower and a prodigious 320 pounds-feet of torque– enough to tow up to 2722 kg (6000 lb.).
